Investment Portfolio Management
CSI works with Treasury Management Services, Inc. to provide the following:
- Assist in developing investment policies customized to the ‘institutions’ needs
- Structure the investment portfolio to meet specific asset/liability and income needs
- Monitor financial markets
- Maximize the investment portfolio income by capitalizing on yield spreads while maintaining future cash flow needs
- Monitor the institution’s tax position and make recommendations to improve after-tax income
- Monitor and report any regulatory changes dealing with the investment portfolio
- Assist in providing management and board of directors with investment portfolio reports and analyses
- Ensure preservation of capital with on-going credit research on each security owned
- Third party pricing of the investment portfolio as required by regulation
- Management and board of directors presentations to broaden understanding of the make-up and purpose of the investment portfolio
- Act as liaison between the financial institution and brokerage community
- Available for responding to questions that may arise concerning management of the investment portfolio
